This October talk was the final of four about how well prepared London is for the challenge of Climate Change. The first covered ‘Water’, the second ‘Food’, and the third ‘Transport’

The history of waste management in London was considered – how did it start and why did it start? Then the current situation and some of the current issues and challenges faced in ascending the ‘waste hierarchy’ were discussed followed by some of the future options for the Capital. What was going on in North London –the North London Waste Authority, its seven constituent boroughs and its drivers were discussed.

The NLWA includes both Haringey and Camden.
