Thank you very much for the excellent evening spent learning how to make a start on growing food. I feel that the most important thing that I got out of it was confidence. Also, before when I had thought about growing stuff, I used to get carried away: I will grow carrots, potatoes, beans, onions, courgettes, cabbages, etc. etc. Your first statement made me think: grow what you really like to eat. So I will be more selective in future instead of trying to grow absolutely everything that I can see in a greengrocer’s shop.
